DealRow helps you find dealers at a card show. You can use the whole app — search, the floor map, saving booths to your list — without an account and without telling us who you are.
What we collect
Nothing, if you just browse
Browsing the show, searching, opening a booth and using the map require no account and no personal information.
An anonymous device id
A random identifier stored on your device. It lets us count how many people used the app at a show and which searches came from the same visit. It is not your name, your email, your phone, or your advertising id, and it never leaves your device except attached to the anonymous counts below.
Searches and booth views
The words you search, the categories they match, how many results came back, and which booths were opened — tied to the anonymous device id above and to the show, never to you. This is what tells a promoter that fourteen people looked for something nobody at the show was selling.
Raffle entry — only if you enter
If you choose to enter a show raffle, we collect the name, email and phone you type, and only after you tick the consent box. It is used to contact you about the drawing and about future shows.
Dealer accounts — only for dealers
If you are a dealer and create an account to manage your booth, we store your email and the booth details you enter, including any card photos you upload.
Camera and photos
Dealers can add a picture of a card either by scanning it with the camera or by choosing one from their photo library. When you choose from your library, the app receives only the picture you pick — it cannot see the rest of your photos. Either way the image is uploaded only when you add that card to your own booth listing. Nothing is captured in the background, and buyers are never asked for camera or photo access.
What we never do
- We do not connect the anonymous device id to raffle entries. Search and booth-view data is never joined to the contact details you give for a raffle. We cannot look up what a named person searched for, and neither can a promoter or a booth.
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not use third-party advertising or tracking software.
- We do not track your location.
- We do not show you ads.
What promoters and dealers can see
A show promoter sees totals — how many people used the app, what was searched for, and which booths drew interest. A dealer sees counts for their own booth. Neither sees individual people, and neither can read the raffle list joined to any of it.
Deleting your data
Dealers can delete their account from their dashboard (under “Everything else about your listing”) or from inside the app, under My Booth → Delete account. This removes your login, your card listings and your booth photos for good. Your table stays on the show's roster, because that record belongs to the promoter who runs the show — it simply stops being linked to you.
To be removed from a raffle list, or to ask what we hold about you, email info@ohiocardshows.com.
Children
Card shows are family events and children attend them. The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Raffle entry is intended for adults.
